Smile!

Would you recognize your friends or family if they were homeless? One of the most powerful videos I've ever seen which has greatly impacted my life showed people walking right past their parents and cousins dressed homeless on the street. When I sit with my homeless friends, I've noticed dodgy or lack of eye contact by people who pass by. What if you avoided eye contact with someone who happened to be your mom? Or what if your best friend growing up had a series of unfortunate events occur and ended up on the street? I would like to challenge everyone to be aware of people around them, and embrace the awkward eye contact and share a smile. Because smiles are contagious!🌞
